Zdena Höhmová
Born in October 4th, 1955 in Brno, CZ
Education: 1971-75 College of Applied Arts (Brno) - painting; 1975-81 graduated from Academy of Arts (Prague) Landscape and Figurative Painting, (Professor František Jiroudek).
Experience:
1982-88 Pedagogic Specialist, Department of Art, College of Education of the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně) Brno; and Academy of Applied of Arts (Prague). Since 1988 freelance Artist (painting, drawing, graphic arts, and book illustrations). Member of the Q Association and the Association of Prague Painters. Now living alternately in Brno and Prague.
Since 1981, Zdena Höhmová has launched more than 70 solo exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad; has shared in nearly 150 group exhibitions, biennials, symposia, artistic projects, contemporary art fairs and auctions.
Represented in collections at: the National Gallery in Prague, the Moravian Gallery in Brno, the Metropolitan Museum in Brno and private collections in the Czech Republic, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Italy and the USA.
